Job description

​I am working with a leading global company in the UK renewables sector who are looking for an Asset Manager to help steer the performance and growth of their Wind, Solar, and BESS across the UK.

Role Overview

  • Support the Asset Manager in operational management of UK renewable assets (wind, solar, battery storage).

  • Ensure assets meet technical, safety, and quality standards.

  • Optimize commercial and financial performance of operational assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce health and safety and environmental standards.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of renewable assets.

  • Oversee contract and contractor management for O&M services.

  • Coordinate handover of projects from construction to operation.

  • Support integration of acquired operational assets.

  • Monitor technical/commercial performance and reporting.

  • Lead maintenance planning, risk assessments, and method statements.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (finance, trading, analysts, etc.) and external partners (OEMs, agencies, landowners).

  • Engage with local authorities, communities, and ecological groups.

  • Perform site inspections, audits, and emergency response.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong experience in contractor management and asset maintenance.

  • Familiarity with enterprise/business management systems.

  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (wind, solar, storage).

  • Proficiency in safe systems of work and health & safety regulations.

  • Experience with commissioning, operations, and dispute resolution.

  • Strong data analysis and performance monitoring skills.

  • Full UK driving license required.
