​TGRC are working with an established Renewable Energy Investment Manager dedicated to increasing our Renewable Energy capacity. Operating across the whole project life cycle and with a growing asset management department, they are now looking for a Tax and Compliance Associate to take responsibility for compliance across the whole group. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience working in Tax and Compliance.

Location - London

Salary - £65,000 + bonus (10-15%)

This role is to support tax compliance, planning and efficiency, reporting directly into the Senior Tax Manager. You will take ownership of all corporation and operational tax compliance and provide support on tax planning for both buy-side and sell-side transactions. This encompasses the whole group including projects at development, construction, and operational phases as well as holding companies and fund entities.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate preparation of the UK tax returns and statutory accounts

• Coordination of overseas tax compliance work to ensure it is completed on a timely basis, being the main point of contact with finance managers and overseas advisers

• Preparation and review of UK VAT Returns and review of overseas VAT returns prepared by service providers (Ireland, Netherlands, Finland, Poland)

• Manage compliance and filing obligations for other indirect taxes

• Assistance with implementing and maintaining transfer pricing policy

• Responsible for UK Tax audit enquiries

Requirements

• Degree educated with Tax/Accounting Qualification (or qualified by experience)

• Ideally 5+ years

• VAT Experience essential

• Technically competent, and familiar with UK tax legislation and compliance

• Experience in Renewables/Infrastructure/Fund management desirable
