Job title: Sustainable Energy Office Coordinator

Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia (On-site)

As a Sustainable Energy Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our new office.

TGRC has partnered with an international renewable energy owner and operator in the search for an Office Manager to play an integral role in establishing the Melbourne office. Your main responsibilities include:

HR Support:

  • Manage local HR matters for a small team, including onboarding, employee relations, and basic HR administration.

  • Liaise with the Head Office Team to implement and ensure compliance with company-wide HR policies and procedures.

  • Support the recruitment process for local staff as needed.

Contractual Work:

  • Oversee minor contractual matters, such as Office Rental Agreements and contracts with IT service providers.

  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure all contractual agreements align with company standards.

Office Setup:

  • Collaborate with the Head Office Team to set up the new office, ensuring all necessary infrastructure and resources are in place.

  • Coordinate logistics for office furniture, equipment, and supplies.

Hybrid Work Arrangement:

  • Facilitate and manage the hybrid work model, especially during the initial months of operation.

  • Implement and optimize policies and procedures to support a successful hybrid work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an Office Manager or HR Coordinator role.

  • Strong understanding of HR principles and local labour laws.

  • Experience in managing contractual agreements, preferably in an office setup context.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Effective communication skills to liaise with both local staff and the Head Office Team.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Certification in HR management is a plus.
