Structured Finance Manager- Renewable Energy

​Our client, a leading renewable energy developer, is looking for a talented structured finance manager to join their team.

Purpose of the role

  • The team is tasked with securing project-level financing, working on asset acquisitions/divestments, and supporting the global development team when making investment decisions.

  • This role will primarily be focused on the development and implementation of financial models supporting the delivery of strategic objectives and a variety of projects and programmes.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Creating, developing, and maintaining appropriate and robust financial models capable of calculating returns and valuations for investments in different jurisdictions.

  • Sizing debt, calculating ratios, and running sensitivities for different debt transactions; and assisting in short-, medium- and long-term corporate level business planning.

  • Providing support in debt financing and equity raising transactions.

  • Working with tax advisors and the tax director to develop in-depth knowledge on tax regimes in foreign jurisdictions applicable to the core business including but not limited to corporation tax, VAT, withholding tax and capital gains tax.

  • Providing good quality, timely financial modelling advice to stakeholders, in a way that non-specialists can readily understand.

  • Maintaining the monthly and annual cash flow models and assessing the impacts of model outputs on short-term financing requirements.
