​Responsibilities

1. Overall responsible for Transformer /Switch Gear and similar products supplier quality, delivery, technical capability and sustainability performance

2. Fully support and influence the Supply Chain Strategy

3. Important cross-functional teams to develop strategies for obtaining first time quality throughout the supply chain

4. Support supplier development and qualification including supplier assessment and certifications

5. Quality Assurance on Outsourced Blades supplier new product introduction following APQP/PPAP activities

6. Securing responsible products are delivered to meet customer requirements on Quality, delivery and Safety

7. Communicate supplier performance to senior management and motivate key Quality initiatives

Qualifications

1. Minimum of a B.S. in Engineering or Science

2. 10+ years' industry experience in the electrical production environment with at least 5 years in a supplier quality engineering role

3. Relevant experience in introducing a product from development, through production to operations

4. Will be required to travel 50% of time and to remote sites

5. Certified ISO 9001 lead assessor. Working knowledge about ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001

6. Six Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certification, Master black Belt as preferred

7. Skilled continues quality improvement skill and lean expertise
