The SPV Accountant will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of the renewable energy special purpose vehicles for a leading Renewable Energy Asset Manager. Our client has seen considerable growth over the last few years. We are therefore looking to hire an individual with experience from a renewables background to help support the demands of the fund as it continues to grow.

Finance

• Preparation of the annual budgets for the SPVs
• Review of monthly finance reports for SPVs prepared by outsourced asset managers
• Monitoring of budgets and preparation of analytical reports to the internal for internal reporting
• Review and completion of SPV statutory accounts & management of audit process
• Preparation of corporation tax packs for SPVs
• Prepare SPV group VAT consolidations
• Monitoring of SPV cash balances and review of payment instructions

Administration

• Some maintenance / preparation of SPV board packs, databases / masterfiles

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Strong IT systems skills – particularly Excel
• Ability to multitask
• Work autonomously and within a small team
• 2 + Years of relevant experience in renewable energy companies
