Salary: eur 40,000-50,000


My client is seeking a solutions Consultant who will work with customers and other members of the Business Development team, to lead all aspects of the technical sales process.

Your role is to work together with the Regional Manager and the Solutions Team to increase the prospective clients understanding of our technology and ensure they realise what makes the business leaders of our field. You will be responsible for convincing our target clients of the benefits of using the company’s advanced software solution, and therefore the number of long-term agreements your Region closes.


Key responsibilities

  • Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying the services and technology applications to the client’s business
  • Be the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers
  • Focus on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions
  • Develop and deliver outstanding presentations, demonstrations, and written proposals in partnership with the particular Regional Manager
  • Lead all aspects of the technical sales process
  • Work closely with the other member of the Solutions Team, to improve the software platform, guarantee customer engagement and present new service lines to the clients in your region


Your profile

  • 3+ years in a similar role, preferably with solar or software/technology vendor
  • Able at needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques
  • Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication
  • Engineering or computer science degree or equivalent
  • Strong written ability and excellent communication skills in English is essential to create a collaborative atmosphere within the team while achieving key objectives
  • Spoken and written proficiency in English + one other [Spanish, French, Italian, German]
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM programs
