The Opportunity:

Join a leading International Investment Fund with an ambitious focus. The company are looking for a Solar PV Project Developer in the German market to lead/support the development process up until the ready-to-build stage.

***Location in Germany is flexible***

The Role:

• Oversee all aspects of solar PV project development from early stage to ready-to-build stage, including land acquisition, planning permission, technical planning and grid connection
• Support the selection and commercial negotiations with suppliers and contractors, including land leases, development service agreements, environmental and technical studies, and EPC agreements
• Oversee and manage project development plans, timelines, milestones and budgets and coordinate both internal and external stakeholders
• Represent the project vis-à-vis landowners, local communities and permitting authorities
• Responsible for the sourcing and acquisition of utility-scale ground-mounted solar projects throughout Germany

The Individual:

• Degree in a technical discipline; Engineering Degree preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on experience and a proven track record in solar PV development in Germany and managing all aspects of the development process from land acquisition to ready-to-built with a strong network in the Renewables sector
• Experience in other European countries will be considered a plus
• Self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a hands-on approach
• Fluent in German and working knowledge of the English language
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and familiarity with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, PVSyst and similar tools is advantageous
