Site Supervisor (Substations) – Career Opportunity in Northern Ireland!
TGRC is excited to announce a new opening for a dedicated Site Supervisor to manage substations projects throughout Northern Ireland. This is a 12-month contract offering a competitive day rate of £375, ideally suited for professionals who excel in transmission and distribution projects and are committed to advancing their careers in the energy sector.
About the Role
In this key position, you will oversee the daily operations at various substations across Northern Ireland, ensuring that all project phases are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Site Management: Lead the operation and maintenance activities at substations, ensuring that all tasks are performed according to project specifications and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Safety Leadership: Enforce health and safety standards, conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings, and ensure all site personnel are adhering to best safety practices.
Team Supervision: Manage and support a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and leadership to ensure professional growth and high performance.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with other project supervisors, engineers, and construction managers to ensure smooth progress and to address any issues swiftly.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all site activities and progress reports, ensuring transparency and accountability in project management.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in supervising substations, transmission, and distribution projects.
Education: A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Certifications: Current and valid Health & Safety (H&S) tickets.
Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
