​Job Title: Site Manager - Utility Scale Solar PV (Freelance)

Location: US

Pay Rate: $65-$75 per hour

Our client, a leading renewable energy company based in the US, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction and commissioning of their utility scale solar PV projects. This is a freelance position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site activities and ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all site activities, including civil and electrical works, equipment installation, and commissioning.

  • Ensure that all works are completed in accordance with the project schedule, budget, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure that all works are completed safely and efficiently.

  • Provide regular progress reports to the project manager and other stakeholders.

  • Manage any risks or issues that arise during the project and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure that all project documentation is up to date and compliant with relevant regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the utility scale solar PV industry, with at least 3 years' experience as a Site Manager.

  • Strong project management skills and a track record of successfully delivering solar PV projects.

  • A thorough understanding of the regulatory environment for utility scale solar PV projects in the US.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
