​Job Title: Site Manager - Offshore Wind Projects

Location: Japan (12 month contract)

Our client is a leading renewable energy company, specializing in providing innovative solutions for offshore wind projects across the globe. They are currently seeking a Site Manager to join their team in Japan on a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the offshore wind project site, including safety, quality, cost, and schedule

• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

• Manage project risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation and contingency plans as required

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including subcontractors, vendors, and local authorities

• Monitor and report on project progress, and provide regular updates to senior management

• Develop and implement site-specific safety and environmental plans, and ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with these plans

• Manage the project budget, and ensure that all expenditures are tracked and reported accurately

• Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field

• Minimum 10 years of experience in managing offshore wind projects, with a focus on site management

• Strong knowledge of offshore wind technologies, industry standards, and regulations

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English and Japanese

• Experience in managing subcontractors, vendors, and local authorities

• Experience in managing project budgets and expenditures

• Experience in managing project risks and opportunities, and developing mitigation and contingency plans
