Site Manager – Floating Offshore Wind Project

Location: Chiba Prefecture, Japan
Contract Duration: 16 months
Hourly Rate: $55-$75 USD

The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to collaborate with a leading renewable energy developer on an ambitious Floating Offshore Wind project. We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to direct operations in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

Role Overview: As the Site Manager, you will be the key leadership figure on-site, tasked with overseeing the successful execution and completion of the project. This role demands exceptional management of all site activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, project timelines, quality controls, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily site operations for the floating offshore wind project, ensuring all activities align with project goals.

  • Oversee project lifecycle from initiation to completion, focusing on optimal safety and operational standards.

  • Facilitate coordination among project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and timely execution of tasks.

  • Enforce rigorous safety and quality protocols, conducting regular reviews and updates as needed.

  • Produce comprehensive progress reports and communicate regularly with project stakeholders.

  • Identify and resolve on-site issues swiftly to minimize project delays.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale offshore wind projects, preferably with specific expertise in floating wind technologies.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability in managing multidisciplinary teams in complex and fast-paced environments.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.

  • Proficiency in English required; Japanese language skills are a significant advantage.

  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a closely related field.
