Site Manager – Floating Offshore Wind Project

Location: Kuji City, Japan
Contract Duration: 16 months
Hourly Rate: $55-$75 USD

The Green Recruitment Company is excited to partner with a forward-thinking renewable energy developer currently spearheading a Floating Offshore Wind project. We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to oversee operations in Kuji City, Japan.

Role Overview: The Site Manager will be the primary on-site leader, responsible for the execution and completion of a floating offshore wind project. This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of site operations, ensuring the project meets safety, quality, schedule, and budgetary objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the floating offshore wind project site.

  • Manage project milestones from conception through completion with a keen focus on safety and efficiency.

  • Coordinate between project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations and communication.

  • Implement and monitor strict safety protocols and quality control measures.

  • Prepare detailed progress reports and present them to stakeholders.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale offshore wind projects, with specific experience in floating technologies preferred.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in a dynamic and challenging environment.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Japanese is highly beneficial.

  • Relevant certifications in construction management, engineering, or related fields.
