This pivotal leadership role will be responsible for directing the company’s financial strategy, including corporate finance, capital raising, and project finance for an extensive pipeline of renewable projects, totaling over 15GW. Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy Development: Shape and implement a robust financial strategy to support the company’s growth goals in the renewable energy sector.

• Capital Raising: Lead efforts to secure capital for projects through strategic partnerships with investors, utilizing your expertise in renewable energy financing and project finance.

• Corporate and Project Finance Oversight: Direct and manage all aspects of corporate finance and project financing, ensuring successful funding and financial health for the company's portfolio.

• Leadership and Team Management: Oversee, mentor, and grow a talented finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.

• Financial Forecasting and Reporting: Provide comprehensive financial insights and projections to inform key business decisions.

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the development and operational stages of renewable energy projects.

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in finance, with significant time spent in project finance and corporate finance within the renewable energy sector.

• Sector Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy financing landscape in the U.S., especially related to wind, solar, and energy storage.

• Capital Raising Expertise: Proven track record of successfully raising capital for renewable energy projects, including negotiation with investors and financial institutions.

• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams within high-growth environments.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant financial certification (e.g., CFA) preferred.
