Job description

This job is 100% remote in Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Design Solar PV Projects

    Lead the design of utility-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects from initial conception to full planning submission status. This includes creating detailed and accurate designs that meet project requirements.

  • Technical Design Work

    Utilize industry-standard software to carry out technical design work, progressing from preliminary concepts to detailed plans as the project matures. Ensure all designs are robust and align with development milestones.

  • Define Technical Specifications

    Establish technical parameters and specifications for the main components of the solar PV projects. This includes selecting appropriate materials and ensuring all components meet the necessary standards.

  • Compliance and Standards

    Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry codes and standards. Incorporate feedback from the Construction and Operations teams to refine and improve designs.

  • Post-Construction Documentation

    Support the preparation of comprehensive post-construction documentation, ensuring all aspects of the project are thoroughly documented and compliant with regulatory requirements.

  • Expertise During Development

    Provide technical expertise during both the development and implementation phases of the project. This includes offering support both remotely and on-site to ensure successful project execution.

  • Yield AssessmentConduct initial yield assessments of potential solar sites to determine their viability and potential energy production.

  • Technical Due Diligence

    Assist with technical due diligence as required, ensuring all projects are thoroughly vetted and meet high standards of quality and feasibility.

  • Collaborate with Renewables Team

    Work closely with the Renewables team, which includes developers, engineers, project managers, contract managers, offtake managers, market and strategy analysts, and external partners. Foster optimal cooperation and communication within this diverse group.

Requirements

  • Educational Background

    Hold a university degree in Engineering, providing a solid foundation for technical and project management tasks.

  • Relevant Experience

    Possess at least 5 years of relevant work experience in the Renewables sector, with a strong focus on solar PV projects.

  • Business Transformation

    Demonstrate a proven track record in business transformation or operational excellence, showcasing your ability to drive improvements and efficiencies.

  • Creative and Open-Minded

    Be a creative and open-minded individual, capable of thinking outside the box and approaching challenges with innovative solutions. A good sense of humor is also valued.

  • Communication Skills

    Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
