Job description
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the execution of onshore wind projects, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery. Responsibilities include planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication, with a strong focus on financial control and operational efficiency. This role requires strategic leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring junior project managers, contributing to the company’s renewable energy goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee and manage onshore wind projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals, company policies, and industry standards.
Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring project progress aligns with expectations.
Monitor project status, track KPIs, and proactively manage risks and issues to ensure successful outcomes.
Manage project budgets, financial performance, and reporting to ensure cost control and transparency.
Optimize project management processes by identifying efficiency improvements and ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior project managers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
Act as a key escalation point for complex project challenges, working with stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
Qualifications
A degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
Over 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years specifically in wind farm project management or constructions.
Strong skills in financial control and Risk & Opportunity (R&O) management within projects.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to drive project success.
A proactive and ownership-driven approach to project execution.
Willingness to travel occasionally as required for regional project needs.
