Summary:

An international company specializing in gas and power trading are seeking a Senior PPA Originator to join their highly experienced, customer facing, origination team. The team analyse and develop new business and sell products and services serving as the primary link to their clients.  

With the team’s    deep understanding of market conditions, strong business expertise and great people skills, their mission is to grow their client and product portfolio by adding experience and seniority to the team.  

As Senior PPA Originator, you will regularly engage with renewable energy power plants, utilities, and international industrial players. To succeed and thrive in this role it is imperative you have a strong flair for stakeholder engagement.

Your Responsibilities:

• Take lead responsibility for maintaining and growing the client base in the Nordics
• Collaborate with the company’s portfolio of power generators, to develop bespoke and competitive products.
• Assess the market potential in the Nordics and over time in other growth markets

• Maintain regular client interaction
• Deliver a high service level to clients
• Pitch new product ideas to clients
• Provide feedback to the product teams on price levels and market development
• Establish and negotiate partnerships with renewable energy developers
• Strengthen the businesses position as an innovative outfit, providing cutting edge product development
• Immerse yourself in legislation and identify opportunities and threats arising from legislative changes
• Maintain a strong company brand at industry events

Requirements from you:

• Good experience from a similar position in PPA origination
• Hold a degree in International Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics etc
• Fluent in a Scandinavian language as well as English
• Thrive working independently
