The Green Recruitment Company are pleased to be supporting our Client, a leading global energy technology company, who provide distributed energy solutions to enable businesses to maximise the value of their energy assets.

They seek a new Operations & Markets Manager​ to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate will be organised and proactive, with excellent communication skills. They will have strong numerical skills and have meticulous attention to detail. They will also be a team player, have strong problem solving ability & be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities include:

• Support and carry out day to day operations of assets in markets (including market analysis, bidding, and scheduling)
• Generate performance reports & manage client performance
• Engage with customers & provide excellent customer support when needed
• End-to-end registration of new assets

Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience within the energy sector (ideally Energy Storage, Smart Grid or DR)
• Demonstrative experience with Ancillary or Balancing services is required
• Highly competent with MS Excel, and comfortable with other web technologies
• Experience with SQL, Java and/or Python is preferred
• Good understanding of the GB Demand Side Response programmes
