Job description

The role:

  • Oversee both commercial and technical aspects of the renewables assets portfolio, maintaining close communication with technical and commercial managers to enhance operational asset performance and address any arising issues.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, real estate, permit, grid, and contractual requirements of the assets.

  • Manage the invoicing process for all operating entities.

  • Establish annual site operating budgets, ensuring adherence to financing requirements, financial accounts, tax filing deadlines, and maintaining accurate records for each operating entity.

For development and construction projects:

  • Supervise and monitor construction progress for assets under construction, coordinating with counterparties and technical advisors.

  • Prepare, develop, and manage project budgets, scopes of work, and timelines

  • Generate regular progress reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

  • Oversee and monitor development assets until successful permit achievement.

  • Request and evaluate proposals from subcontractors, including participating in contract negotiations

  • Identify potential project risks and propose solutions.

  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Create a comprehensive handover document for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team.

The Individual:

  • Strong academic background with a relevant degree, such as in Business Administration, Engineering, or Renewables & Finance.

  • Previous experience in the Renewables Industry and Asset Management.

  • Technical managers must have engineering experience in renewable energy project design and procurement.

  • Extensive experience in construction management and the project development process.

  • A deep understanding of technical, commercial, and contractual aspects that influence asset performance.

  • Proficient in English, and knowledge of a Central and Eastern European (CEE) language is highly desirable.
