We are currently representing a leading Sustainability & Net Zero Consultancy in their search for a highly skilled Senior Manager. This consultancy is dedicated to helping organizations achieve their sustainability goals and transition towards a net-zero future.

As the Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing sustainability and net-zero projects for clients in Perth and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Your extensive experience in sustainability, leadership abilities, and passion for driving positive change will contribute to the success of the consultancy's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage sustainability and net-zero projects, including project planning, resource allocation, stakeholder management, and budget control.

• Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to clients, supporting their sustainability and net-zero ambitions.

• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored strategies, action plans, and roadmaps to achieve sustainability goals and drive positive environmental impact.

• Conduct comprehensive sustainability assessments and audits, identifying areas for improvement and recommending effective solutions.

• Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, and provide regular updates to clients and senior management.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, serving as a trusted advisor and fostering long-term partnerships.

• Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and policy changes in sustainability and net-zero initiatives.

• Lead and support the development of sustainability frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and performance tracking systems.

• Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, participating in proposal development, and delivering client presentations.

• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.

• Proven experience in sustainability consulting or related roles, with a focus on managing sustainability and net-zero projects.

• Strong understanding of sustainability concepts, including carbon emissions, energy management, waste reduction, and circular economy principles.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering complex sustainability projects, from inception to completion.

• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Familiarity with sustainability certifications and reporting frameworks such as GRI, CDP, or ISO 14001.

• Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and industry trends related to sustainability and net-zero initiatives.

• Passion for sustainability, climate action, and driving positive change towards a more sustainable future.
