​Our Client a leading player in the renewables Venture Capital sector is looking to appoint a Senior Investment Partner. Salary £130-170k + bonus.

The role:

• Support the firm’s fundraising efforts and foster relationships with potential future limited partners

• Make investment decisions for the firm alongside Managing Partners

• Source new investment opportunities that meet our investment criteria globally

• Lead due diligence efforts from screening to termsheet negotiation and successful investment, directing a working group of venture partners, angel investors

• Support the development and negotiation of strong exits for our portfolio companies

• You will participate actively in and help manage our deal pipeline, screening, and scouting processes

• Engage with our limited partners, providing industry insight and leadership

Qualifications:

• Deep experience sitting on startup and large company boards in the energy and/or climate tech space

• You have developed an on-demand network of experienced, senior players in energy, climate tech, academia and/or government who could act as experts during diligence or advisors to our portfolio companies

• Led venture capital or private equity due diligence efforts

• You have experience at a venture capital firm and managing and leading highly talented and capable teams, including developing and attracting the most sought after venture team members

• Deep technical understanding of several sub-sectors within climate tech
