THE OPPORTUNITY: 

A utilities-scale IPP is looking for a Senior Group Accountant to oversee the performance output of a newly-developed solar portfolio. 

THE ROLE: 

• Prepare capital drawdowns, distributions and management fee calculations and billing statements
• Prepare management accountant and reconciliations on a timely basis
• Prepare relevant monthly and quarterly VAT returns
• Oversee internal cost and cashflow forecasting and reporting 
• Manage the accounts payable process
• Actively participate in the quarterly audit process 
• Perform additional ad hoc tasks such as accruals, tax and compliance

THE INDIVIDUAL: 

• CIMA, ACA or ACCA equivalent qualified with 5+ PQE
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or other relevant discipline
• Experience within the renewable energy/infrastructure space preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, SQL and Python
• Ability to work effectively across different departments
• Resourceful, adaptive and 'hands-on' mentality
