About the Role

Based in Hamburg, this contract role involves pivotal work with a leading transmission specialist dedicated to renewable energy and green hydrogen projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced geophysical surveys and data analysis for offshore cable and pipe installation projects.

• Develop models and simulations to predict and mitigate potential geological risks.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of geophysical insights with engineering solutions.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior geophysicists and project teams.

• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for effective decision-making on project developments.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in geophysics, specifically within offshore environments.

• Proficient in using geophysical software and equipment relevant to subsea installations.

• Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex geological data.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing and mentoring teams.

• A master’s degree or higher in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
