About the Role
The Green Recruitment Company is excited to offer a significant opportunity for a Senior Geophysicist with expertise in offshore cable and pipe installation. Located in Bremen, this contract role involves critical work with a transmission specialist dedicated to projects in renewable energy and green hydrogen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive geophysical surveys and data analysis for offshore cable and pipe installation projects.

• Develop models and simulations to assess and mitigate geological risks.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geophysical insights into engineering projects.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior geophysicists and project teams.

• Prepare detailed geophysical reports and contribute to strategic project decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in geophysics, especially within offshore environments.

• Proficiency in using advanced geophysical tools and software for subsea installations.

• Excellent analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex geological data.

• Strong leadership qualities and communication skills, with the ability to manage and mentor teams.

• A master’s degree or higher in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related field is required.
