The recently acquired scale-up are providing a one-stop-shop for stakeholders to use cleaner energy by providing an innovative operating system.

Our client has recently experienced rapid growth and are now looking to bring in a senior full stack developer who will play a key role in the team, taking ownership for all development work, setting coding standards, and creating scalable software solutions.

This Individual will be joining the existing cross-functional team in London, who work in an agile, dynamic environment.

The Role

• Working on all aspects of software design to develop the company platform using TypeScript and associated technologies.
• Taking accountability for all development work and quality control.
• Delegating tasks to suitable team members and managing multiple projects.
• Keeping up to date with new technology and teaching others how to use them.
• Generating ideas with the team and being confident to express and offer solutions.
• Generating technical documentation and reports.
• Work with the Design, Product and Business teams to execute processes related to goals.

Job Requirements:

• 4-5 years of commercial experience in web application development across multiple projects.
• 3 years working experience with backend languages (Ideally TypeScript or JavaScript).
• Proficiency with frontend languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript XML.
• Understanding of JavaScript frameworks including Nest JS and React.
• Experience using relational databases (ideally MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge and proven commercial experience with AWS services.
• Experience working in an agile development team.
• Good understanding of user experience (UE) and product strategy.
• Passion for understanding technical ideas and explaining them to the team.
• A strong spoken and written English skills.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Degree in related field, e.g., Computer Science, Maths, Statistics

Desirables:

• Interest in Renewable Energy Sector.
• Experience implementing or using Blockchain.
