Senior Financial Accountant

The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be supporting our client, a rapidly growing European renewable energy business who are steadily building their reputation in the UK with their EV charging infrastructure.
The client’s mission is to decarbonise the economy and reduce climate change by investing heavily into low carbon emissions. For the accountant role, we are looking to hire someone with exceptional organisation and analytical skills. To ensure he/she have a deep commercial awareness as well as strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the global accounting of the group companies in the UK (payroll, fixed assets, payments, collections, supplier invoices, accruals, etc...) and registration of accounting entries (provisions, accruals, depreciation, etc.)
Carrying out monthly closings under IFRS
Implementation of accounting in the Navision ERP (currently outsourced accounting)
Preparation and analysis of the annual financial statements and reports during the year, and preparation of the monthly closing.
Monthly analytical reporting on the closing
Proposal for improvements in procedures and implementation of controls to ensure that the financial information reported is correct.
Constant interaction with other departments to resolve incidents with invoices and payments
Control of treasury and remittances of payments and collections
For all this, the ERP NAVISION will be used
Requirements:
Minimum experience of 4-5 years in a similar position.
Accounting knowledge IFRS (Spanish GAAP desirable but not necessary).
Experience/knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ERP software.
Expert knowledge of Excel and Office suite.
Knowledge in Navision.
Experience in auditing (desirable but not necessary).
