​Our client is a leading international solar development platform who has had success in recent years and continues to scale in their core markets and expand their vision to 2025.

The company is expanding rapidly and with new business lines coming onstream, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager, based in Sydney.

Your role will include:

Financial Control

• Overseeing the day-to-day management of the finance operations

• Creation, coordination, maintenance and preparation of budgets and financial forecast models.

• Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

Corporate Finance

• Corporate Finance support including preparation of financial projections, finance proposals for senior debt fundraising and project appraisals.

• Responsibility for financial modelling, including individual project and portfolio solar asset models

• Investment appraisals

• Responsibility for the management of all funds, including day to day cash management and cash forecasting

Financial Reporting

• Preparation of financial statements

• Coordinating the year-end audit liaising with external accountants and auditors as required

• Provide financial and accounting information as required by external agencies

Your profile:

• Qualified accountant with minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience

• Previous experience of working in a complex, internationally focused business

• Good experience and/or exposure to solar energy projects

• Experience in structured financing preferred

• Financial modelling and investment appraisal experience are essential
