A professional grantmaking charitable organization with a focused on achieving prosperity and a safe climate through sustainable energy strategies. The organization supports a variety of initiatives, including policy and standard research, capacity building, and international cooperation in multiple sectors such as power, industry, transportation, and urban development. It plays a vital role in addressing comprehensive and integrated issues impacting the nation’s decarbonized development. The Senior Director of Green Technology and Infrastructure is centered around constructing new power systems and fostering green, low-carbon industrial advancements. He/She will lead a cluster of team addresses real-world issues through systematic solutions that propel organizational objectives. It consists of programs focused on Industry, Transportation, Clean Power, and Fossil Fuel Transition.


  • Lead the development and execution of strategies that align with organizational goals, manage budget allocations, and contribute to overall organizational strategies.

  • Oversee fundraising initiatives, collaborate with funding partners, and lead the preparation and approval of project proposals.

  • Directly manage project operations, oversee grantmaking processes, and ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.

  • Facilitate resource mobilization to support collaborative efforts across the organization and maintain effective communication with the Communications team.

  • Serve as an organizational representative, build relationships with key stakeholders, and foster partner engagements to enhance organizational goals.

  • Supervise and lead the team in professional development, performance management, and strategic planning.


  • Master’s degree or equivalent in energy and climate, transportation, electrical engineering, or related fields.

  • 15-20 years in relevant fields, with significant leadership and managerial experience; familiarity with energy policies and program management preferred.

  • Proficiency in Chinese and English, with strong communication skills and an understanding of Western cultures.

  • Visionary leadership, strategic thinking, excellent communication and coordination skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective at building alliances and engaging stakeholders to support long-term organizational objectives.


  • Demonstrates consistent ethical behavior and builds trust and credibility both internally and externally.

  • Links strategies across programs for enhanced organizational capacity and cooperation.

  • Motivated by the organization’s goals, demonstrates ownership and a proactive approach.

  • Works collaboratively to find solutions that benefit all parties involved and supports team objectives.
