Job description

​TGRC has partnered with a loading global infrastructures investor, with a renewable energy platform dedicated to accelerating the energy transition to a zero-carbon economy. The platform will develop, repower, construct, and operate wind and solar farms, as well as invest in the deployment of associated emerging technologies such as battery storage and green hydrogen. Our client invests in mid-to-late-stage operating wind and solar farms and in the deployment of emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the initial feasibility prospect of the solar projects.

  • Identifying new opportunities for acquisition and / or development of onshore wind projects and conduct feasibility studies to assess their economic and technical viability.

  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including landowners, local communities, regulators, and utility companies.

  • Leading a team of development professionals, providing guidance and support in project planning, environmental assessments, and permitting processes.

  • Working closely with technical, legal and operations teams and external consultants to ensure that development projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Supervise project development activities, including procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in wind energy development.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale development projects from inception to operation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project Management software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
