The Green Recruitment Company are partnered with a global IPP specialised in a range of renewable energy projects. They are looking for a senior business developer to lead on the company's european solar development pipeline. 

 

The Role

  • Relations with local authorities in the different phases of the process
  • Negotiation with landowners
  • Technical and economic analysis of the Regional Plan (or Local Zoning Plan)
  • Managing relations with partners and consultants involved in the process 
  • Support the team in scouting new opportunities and due diligence
  • Negotiate and implement new projects (cooperation agreement, pipeline acquisition, tendering process, due diligence…)
  • Manage the existing investment (auction procedure, support during construction of new solar farm, financing…)
 

The Individual 

  • At least 10-15 years of experience in a similar position in renewable energy companies focused on green field development of solar farms is required
  • Deep knowledge of the renewables market in Germany, both in terms of regulations, players, market conditions
  • Significant experience and direct involvement in all phases of the authorizations process, from the land acquisition to the analysis of the Regional Plan (or Local Zoning Plan) until the phases prior to building permit obtainment
  • Capacity to evaluate projects under development and prepare risk assessment matrix
  • Skills in negotiations and due diligence process
  • Technical skills: evaluation of solar assessment, layout, connection agreement, environmental constraints
