Job description
The Role:
Responsible for overseeing both the commercial and technical aspects of the renewable asset portfolio. Maintain close communication with technical and commercial managers to optimize asset performance and address any emerging issues
Ensure adherence to regulatory, real estate, permit, grid, and contractual requirements for all assets
Supervise the invoicing process for all operational entities
Establish annual operating budgets for each site, ensuring alignment with financing needs, financial reporting, and tax filing deadlines
Oversee and monitor construction progress for assets under development
Collaborate with counterparties and technical advisors
Prepare, develop, and manage project budgets, scopes of work, and timelines
Provide regular progress reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Monitor and manage development assets until successful permit acquisition
Solicit and assess proposals from subcontractors, including contract negotiations
Identify potential project risks and offer solutions
Nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Create a comprehensive handover document for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team
The Individual:
Possess strong academic qualifications, holding a relevant degree in fields such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Renewables & Finance
Demonstrate relevant experience in the Renewable Energy Industry and Asset Management
Possess a deep understanding of the technical, commercial, and contractual factors that impact asset value
Have knowledge of legal, tax, accounting, and financial analysis as they pertain to renewable energy projects
Proficiency in English is essential, and familiarity with a Central and Eastern European (CEE) language is highly advantageous
