Job description

The Role:

  • Oversee both the commercial and technical aspects of the renewables asset portfolio. Maintain close communication with technical and commercial managers to enhance asset performance and address any arising issues

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, real estate, permit, grid, and contractual requirements for all assets

  • Manage the invoicing process for all operational entities

  • Establish annual operating budgets for each site, ensuring alignment with financing needs, financial reporting, and tax filing deadlines. Maintain meticulous records for each operational entity

  • Supervise and monitor construction progress for assets under construction. Collaborate with counterparties and technical advisors

  • Prepare, develop, and oversee project budgets, scopes of work, and timelines

  • Generate regular progress reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

  • Monitor and manage development assets until successful permit attainment

  • Solicit and evaluate proposals from subcontractors, including negotiating contracts

  • Identify potential project risks and propose solutions

  • Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Create a comprehensive handover document for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team

The Individual:

  • Possess strong academic qualifications with a relevant degree in fields such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Renewables & Finance

  • Demonstrate pertinent experience in the Renewables Industry and Asset Management

  • Understand the technical, commercial, and contractual factors impacting asset value

  • Have a grasp of legal, tax, accounting, and financial analysis as they pertain to renewable energy projects

  • Proficiency in English is a must, and knowledge of a Central and Eastern European (CEE) language is highly desirable
