ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Senior Accounting Manager in review of the financial statements with management personnel.

  • Support the Senior Accounting Manager in review of the account reconciliations in the Blackline tool. Attend necessary Blackline trainings and seminars to be current.

  • Oversight and managing the global payroll process with MSSA, including, downloading the necessary files to record the payroll and performing the necessary reconciliations to ensure completeness.

  • Assist in the preparation of accounting policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Assist with the preparation of the company consolidated and combined financial statements. • Oversight and monitor the documentation requirements for journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Monitoring of the time and expense processing along with analysis.

  • Oversight and monitor documentation requirements for journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Monitoring and updating the necessary exchange rates in the system.

  • Assist with the preparation of the cash flow forecast.

  • Lead system improvement, if so directed.

  • Perform other such duties as may be required.

  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, at least five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of ERP systems, and accounting, database, manufacturing, project management, spreadsheet, word processing and email software.
