The Green Recruitment Company are thrilled to have exclusively partnered with a major disruptor of the energy industry, at the true forefront of energy digitisation - in this latest phase of Global expansion – seeking a new UK based Sales Director with initial focus on the UK & then, Mainland Europe.

The business currently boast partnerships & service agreements with some of the largest utilities, developers, aggregators & innovators – across the full energy spectrum, with their Software Platform bending the rules in terms of traditional energy usage, distribution, optimisation, M&T & operations – this versatile solution is fuelling the future of sustainability across energy markets.

The Role

The business require a brand – new European Sales lead, to strategize the continued growth & mobilisation of services across Europe. Liaising at a high level with new & existing Stakeholders/Customers & Partners - Utilities, DNO's, DSO's & TSO's.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the sales strategy to drive growth and market penetration
  • Build a robust pipeline of new opportunities and methodically move customers through the partnership process
  • Manage existing customer relationships at key accounts and expand business with these accounts
  • Carry voice of the customer & market to influence product roadmap, marketing initiatives, and corporate priorities
  • Deliver presentations at customer and industry events
  • Work closely with technical team to build fully bespoke products, services & energy solutions to maximise uptake in the market.
  • Understanding of Energy Transition - Flexibility Markets – DNO to DSO Transition

Requirements

  • Degree: Qualified to degree level (ideally in STEM discipline)
  • Knowledge: Energy Markets, Smart Grid, Demand Side Response, DSR, Energy Software, Energy Technologies, Utility Assets, Renewable Energy, Energy Innovations, Micro-grids
  • Relationship: Client facing, ability to build & retain relationships – up to executive level.
  • Problem Solving; Inquisitive in nature & solution orientated
  • Previous experience selling to utilities, TSO's, DNO's.
