About the Role:

The Risk/Audit Director will be responsible for overseeing the risk and audit functions within the Renewable Energy Division. They will work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement risk management and internal control systems, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement risk management and internal control systems within the Renewable Energy Division

• Identify and assess potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

• Develop and implement audit plans, including conducting audits of financial and operational processes

• Prepare audit reports and make recommendations to senior management to improve processes and controls

• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement effective risk and control frameworks

• Provide training and support to employees on risk management and internal controls

• Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices in risk management and internal controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field

• 8+ years of experience in risk management, internal audit, or a related field, preferably in the engineering or renewable energy sector

• Strong knowledge of risk management and internal control frameworks, including COSO and ISO 31000

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

• Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, or CPA is highly desirable
