​Estimation Manager - Renewables

Location: Remote - Preference to people in EST/CST time zones

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Renewable Energy Estimator to join our dynamic team. The Senior Estimator will play a pivotal role in assessing and forecasting costs associated with renewable energy projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed cost estimations for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and energy storage systems.

• Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate material and labor estimates.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to validate and refine estimates throughout project lifecycle.

• Research and stay current on industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to inform cost projections.

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure quality standards.

• Prepare comprehensive cost reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• Proven experience 5 years as an Estimator in the renewable energy sector, with a strong understanding of solar and energy storage technologies.

• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., AccuBid, WinEst, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
