Job description

​The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with a leading global renewable financial advisor for renewable energy, energy transition projects & investors.

As a senior member of our advisory deal team, you will be right in the middle of all the action. From originating and working on impactful transactions to leading missions with autonomy, you will be accountable for the smooth execution of advisory missions relating to financial structuring, raising debt or leading M&A transactions.

The Role:

  • Originating financial advisory missions in the energy transition, by utilizing and expanding your existing business network in the US and building upon our existing relationships

  • Taking responsibility for advisory missions e.g. relating to financial structuring, raising required debt or supporting M&A equity finance transactions

  • Leading the interactions with clients, banks and other project stakeholders

  • Supervising financial analysts on the development and management of financial models and cash flow valuations for renewable energy projects

  • Overseeing due diligence processes including work prepared by other advisors

  • Gathering of market intelligence on sectors of interest to the company such as electricity markets, debt markets or venture capital markets and emerging sectors of the energy transition

  • The role requires US securities licensing – SIE, Series 79, Series 82, Series 63, Series 24 – which will be sponsored by the company’s broker-dealer affiliate

  • The successful candidate will become a registered principal of our US broker-dealer

  • Being active in sharing knowledge, building networks and leading business development

  • Active participation in an entrepreneurial, international and dynamic team focused on making projects happen and going the extra mile for the client

The Profile:

  • Master's or similar degree, preferably in Finance or Engineering

  • 10+years of relevant work experience and a demonstrated interest in the energy transition

  • Leadership in the energy transition industry with a breadth of relationships in the industry

  • The ability to work in cross-border teams with a willingness to travel abroad

  • An additional language (Portuguese, French, German, Dutch, Chinese or Japanese) would be a great plus
