Job Overview

TGRC is currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and control for a large-scale onshore wind project based in Oklahoma. This pivotal role offers a 12-month contract with a competitive hourly rate ranging from $60 to $80. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in wind energy projects, emphasizing quality assurance, performance optimization, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance and Control: Develop and enforce quality assurance policies and standards tailored to onshore wind energy projects. Ensure all project phases adhere to these standards to achieve high-quality outputs.

  • Inspection and Compliance: Conduct detailed inspections and audits of all project activities. Identify any deviations from quality standards and implement corrective measures promptly.

  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of inspections, compliance issues, and corrective actions. Ensure documentation is prepared for audits and stakeholder reviews.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of quality control inspectors. Provide training and support to ensure the team is well-versed in the latest quality assurance techniques and standards.

  • Safety Oversight: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. Promote a culture of safety and proactive risk management on the project site.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in quality assurance, specifically in wind energy projects. Proven track record of managing quality control in a project environment.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

  • Certifications: Must possess relevant Health & Safety qualifications. Additional certifications in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) are preferred.

  • Skills: Excellent organizational and leadership skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. Proficient in project and quality management software.

Compensation

The position offers an hourly wage between $60 and $80, based on experience and qualifications. This contract provides an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team and significantly impact the renewable energy sector.
