​QA/QC Manager - Onshore Wind - Kansas

Job Overview

TGRC is excited to present a unique opportunity for a QA/QC Manager specializing in onshore wind energy projects in Kansas. This 12-month contract offers a rewarding compensation package of $60-$80 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. We are seeking a dedicated professional who is passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance Leadership: Implement and oversee comprehensive quality assurance programs tailored to onshore wind projects. Ensure all phases of the project comply with industry standards and best practices.

  • Quality Control Oversight: Conduct systematic inspections and audits to monitor compliance with quality specifications. Address any non-conformities by coordinating effective corrective actions.

  • Documentation Control: Maintain meticulous records of quality control procedures, audits, and corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports that meet regulatory and stakeholder requirements.

  • Team Management: Lead a team of quality control inspectors, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and ensure consistent performance.

  • Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce stringent health and safety practices on-site, ensuring all team members and operations adhere to local and national safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of quality assurance and control experience in wind energy projects, with demonstrated success in managing project quality.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.

  • Certifications: Possession of all relevant Health & Safety qualifications; additional certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) are highly beneficial.

  • Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Proficiency in using quality management software is essential.

Compensation
