Job Title: Project Officer - President's Office
Location: Beijing, China
Type of Contract: Full-time, fixed-term
Duration: 2 years (with possibility of extension)

About the organization:
Our client is a leading international environmental non-governmental organization (NGO) that works to protect the natural environment and promote sustainable development globally. They have been operating in China for many years, with a growing team and a diverse range of environmental programs and projects.
About the role:
The Project Officer will work closely with the President's Office team to support the development, management, and implementation of strategic projects and initiatives. The role will involve working on a range of environmental issues, including climate change, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis on environmental issues and provide recommendations to the President and senior management team
Coordinate and manage project activities, including project planning, budget management, and reporting
Support the development of project proposals, including conducting feasibility studies, stakeholder engagement, and writing project narratives
Organize and participate in meetings, workshops, and events with partners, stakeholders, and donors
Support the President in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, NGOs, and business partners
Provide administrative and logistical support to the President's Office team, including scheduling meetings, drafting correspondence, and managing files
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, international development, or a related field
3+ years of relevant work experience in project management or a related field, preferably in the environmental sector
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise reports and presentations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Experience working in a multicultural and international environment is highly desirable
Passion for environmental sustainability and commitment to the organization's mission
