Summary

 

The Project Manager will Support in delivering projects and enhancements for Enterprise Application Integration. He/She will be working as a member of the middleware team 

• Facilitate business satisfaction by providing sound and mature interface and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solutions, that are running stable in production 

• Manage enhancements and projects over their full life cycle from analysis through to design and implementation, operational enablement, test, go live and post production support until handover to the support team 

• Deliver Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) solutions resolving complex social, commercial and technical problems to deliver to time, cost and quality and to ensure realisation of the business benefits 

• Collaborate closely with delivery programs that require EAI solutions as part of their overall delivery, keep track of and actively manage dependencies 

• Facilitate interface and EAI analysis and feasibility studies, liaise with other IT teams (corporate, cloud, architecture) for relevant matters to agree proper solution approaches 

• Steer external project and service delivery parties and render functional steer to internal resources to maximise their contribution to projects 

• Work closely with other delivery teams, external partners and product vendors to form good working relationships with regards to interface solutions and EAI delivery 

• Provide project and delivery status, progress of EAI enhancements activities to stakeholders 

• Identify, assess, resolve and accurately report on project and delivery risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies in an appropriate and timely manner 

• Manage communications, reporting and overall project relationship to project and delivery stakeholders, user and IT communities 

• Ensure proper operational enablement towards support and operational teams for EAI changes and projects 

• Drive and enhance EAI services and delivery processes, foster delivery excellence and continuous improvement activities 

• Promote EAI capability within the team via informal training and mentoring, best practices and lessons learnt to ensure effective and efficient EAI delivery 

• Engage actively in the companies project management community to promote project management and IT delivery best practices ensuring effective and efficient delivery of projects

• Build and maintain excellent working relationships throughout the IT organisation and with business users and other stakeholders at different levels 

 

Qualifications 

 

• Record of successful EAI and project delivery 

• Must have three or more years experience as Project Manager and EAI delivery 

• Experience/accreditation of project/programme management methodologies such as PMP or Prince 2 

• Good understanding of interfacing and EAI technologies like Fuse or Azure integration services 

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate and co-ordinate across different functions and cultures 

• Strong planning and organisational skills with a dedicated and focused approach to the achievement of objectives 

• Experience of working in an Energy Trading environment / knowledge of energy trading business & related trade life cycle processes is desirable

 • Knowledge of applications in an Energy Trading environment like ETRMS, Dispatch applications and their related information flows, data structures and functionalities like Deal Capture, Risk Management, Settlements, Confirmations is desirable 

• Experience in working in international multi-cultural/country/company environments involving global delivery teams is desirable 

• Work experience with ODC’s (Indian offshore development companies) is desirable
