My client are a global developer and operator of offshore wind farms. They are a world leader in this field and currently looking for a Project Manager for Transport and Installation in offshore wind projects.

Your main tasks would involve:

• Creating, evaluating and accompanying transport and installation concepts for offshore wind turbines and other components needed for construction
• Developing technical documents and tenders
• Technical contract negotiations
• Agreeing timeframes and installation procedures with the suppliers
• Checking all equipment, and installation port
• Preparing the offshore installation phase and forming the interface to all work packages including foundation structures and wind turbines; also preparing the marine coordination plan during installation and commissioning

Main requirements of the role include:

• Engineering degree with a maritime focus; transport and logistics degree are also welcome
• 3+ years of professional experience with large construction projects
• Experience in the transport and logistics of complex technical projects, ideally in the field of offshore wind energy
• Excellent written and spoken English and communication skills
• Willingness to travel
