​TGRC is looking for a Project Manager HVAC for a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for renewal or extension based on performance and project requirements

Pay Range: D.o.E per hour

Location: North Vancouver, B.C

An experienced Project Manager in marine HVAC design, procurement, build, and commissioning is needed for a growing team in North Vancouver, B.C, Canada. Reporting to the Business Director, this role involves working on all project phases from concept to installation and commissioning.

Job Description:

• Interpret customer specifications, requirements, and scopes of work.

• Prepare and update project plans, including budgets, schedules, and staffing forecasts.

• Prepare periodic progress and earned value reports.

• Manage subcontractors to ensure project deliverables.

• Resolve contract-related issues including product delivery schedules, quality, and cost challenges.

• Act as the primary client contact and participate in client meetings.

• Communicate with customers regarding equipment selection.

• Prepare subcontract scopes of work, obtain quotes, and prepare purchase orders.

• Coordinate and oversee construction, commissioning, and operational teams.

• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior project staff.

Basic Qualifications:

• University degree (BSc and/or MSc) in Marine Engineering or equivalent.

• 10+ years of experience in a similar marine position.

• Proficiency in English; French is a plus but not required.
