​Job Title: Project Manager (Interconnection) - Wind Energy - 12 Months Contract

Location: United Kingdom

Industry: Renewable Energy

TGRC is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (Interconnection) on behalf of our client, a leading renewable energy Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). This is a 12-month contract role with competitive day rates, focusing on wind energy projects. Past experience working with Siemens equipment is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of wind energy projects, with a focus on interconnection and grid integration processes

  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of Siemens equipment into the electrical grid

  • Manage relationships with grid operators, utility companies, and regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with all relevant interconnection requirements

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression and on-time delivery

  • Monitor project performance and identify potential risks, implementing corrective actions and mitigation strategies as needed

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular progress updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise

  • Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting achievements, risks, and recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in wind energy project management, with a focus on interconnection and grid integration processes

  • Past experience working with Siemens equipment is essential

  • Strong understanding of wind energy project development, construction, and operation processes, as well as grid integration requirements

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Flexibility to travel to project sites as needed
