About the Company

Our client, a prestigious international airline, is committed to integrating sustainable practices across its operations. In alignment with their global ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, they are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead ESG projects and strategies from their Shanghai office.

Position Overview

The Project Manager - ESG will be instrumental in developing and implementing environmental, social, and governance strategies that align with the airline's commitment to sustainability. This role requires a proactive and innovative individual who can effectively drive ESG initiatives, ensuring compliance and leadership in sustainability within the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor project plans for ESG initiatives, ensuring they meet internal and external standards and goals.

• Collaborate with various departments to integrate ESG considerations into business operations and practices.

• Engage with stakeholders including regulatory bodies, community organizations, and suppliers to promote and enhance the airline's ESG efforts.

• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management that clearly communicate project status, risks, and achievements.

• Stay abreast of global ESG trends and regulations, advising on best practices and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a project manager, ideally with a focus on ESG or sustainability projects within a corporate setting.

• Strong understanding of global ESG standards and issues as they pertain to the aviation industry.

• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Mandarin.
