​My client is an independent producer of 100% renewable energy, and are very active in the offshore wind market in France. They have recently been designated co-winners of two offshore wind farm projects in the Mediterranean region.

They are looking for a Project Manager to lead the development of their activities in this region.

Main Responsibilities:

• Building a territorial development strategy, to ensure the smooth running of their activities and representing them in all phases of the project lifecycle.

• Coordinating all activities; from development phase to construction, with particular focus on tendering and authorization processes.

• Evaluating the feasibility of the projects at all stages of development, in close collaboration with the environmental and technical departments.

• Managing the phases of all applications for administrative authorization and following-up on their status.

• Being involved in local/regional events to promote the company and expand their network

• Participating in national communication regarding the seafront

• Attending internal meetings to ensure follow up on the development of the Projects with the Environmental and Technical teams

The Project Manager would be joining the Tender Team, reporting to the Development Director.

The position is to be located in the South of France: flexibility across cities. Could be based in Montpellier, Marseille, Occitanie, PACA Region.

Your Profile:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the development of renewable energy or land use planning projects, ideally related to the maritime sector.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree: Engineering or other relevant discipline

• Excellent communication skills

• Very good interpersonal skills, autonomy, and ability to synthesize, involvement and rigor, ability to lead several projects in parallel and to prioritize.

• Fluent in French

• Excellent English: both spoken and written

• Driver’s license
