An international renewable energy company are recruiting for a Project Manager for their Melbourne office to work on their incoming Utility scale solar PV projects

This global leader in holistic Solar PV solutions has an impressive portfolio of solar projects across Victoria and are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of solar PV projects project approval to handover

This is a brand-new role that has arisen due to new a growing project portfolio and it will provide fantastic exposure to a variety of solar projects in Victoria

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced Solar PV Project Manager seeking to join an international company with a strong project pipeline in Australia  

 

Your role:

 As Project Manager you will be required to do the following:

  • Manage relationships with EPC Contractors, Project Financiers, Consultancies, Councils, Landowners, DNSPs and AEMO and other relevant parties throughout the project lifespan
  • Responsible for financial and project commercial performance.
  • Prepare construction management plans
  • Manage the site progress of the construction, monitoring construction quality and reviewing site diaries and documentation
  • Assist in preparation and negotiation of EPC contracts
  • Manage the generator registration process with AEMO
  • Review Health and Safety plans and manage site safety inspections
  • Manage the relationship between the EPC, DNSP and AEMO during R1 and R2 phases
  • Monitor the commissioning phase
  • Perform post construction duties including final project inspection, developing asset management plans and project handover

 

Areas of experience required:

·        Minimum 5+ years’ experience in project utility scale solar project management

·        Experience in the delivery of solar projects in Australia

·        Eligibility to live and work in Australia

·        Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent

·        Ability to travel to site when required
