THE OPPORTUNITY: 

The Green Recruitment Company are partnered with a leading solar IPP who are looking for a Project Finance Specialist to join their office in Alicante, Spain. 

THE ROLE: 

You will be reporting directly to the CEO, monitoring the performance of a portfolio recently financed by a leading institutional investor, and sourcing debt and equity finance for an 80MW portfolio across Spain, Portugal and France. 

• Lead in negotiations with banks, Investment Managers and other lenders 
• Support in financial modelling of all new investment opportunities 
• Preparation of relevant transaction documents and investment memoranda for management and senior stakeholders 
• Ongoing support to the portfolio management team 
• Organising and coordinating financing operations in line with scheduled company commitments 

THE INDIVIDUAL: 

• 4 years' project finance experience in the renewables' sector (preferably solar)
• Strong understanding of financial markets (particularly mezzanine debt, capital or equity) 
• Capable negotiator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Financial modelling skills are essential 
• Professional working proficiency in either English or French is desirable
