Job description
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Green Recruitment Company are partnered with an international Renewables developer specialising in solar PV and onshore wind who are looking for a Project Finance Manager to support the development of projects in southern Europe.
You will be working closely with the development team and reporting directly to their Spanish entities' Project Finance Director, structuring and sourcing income as well as supporting alternative investment strategies such as PPAs
THE ROLE:
- Sourcing debt and equity financing opportunities from banks and investors
- Preparing analysis of operational and cost budgets, including collaborating with the project manager and engineering teams to develop and maintain project cost forecasts
- Leading on the creation of financial models for new developments
- Negitiation of bank term sheets and audit processes
- Working closely with the Business Development Director to identify new fundraising and client partnership opportunities
- Working closely with the Project Finance Director to develop PPA opportunities where appropriate
THE INDIVIDUAL:
- 5+ Years' in a similar project/asset finance role
- Renewables' experience is essential
- BA or BSc qualification in a relevant discipline
- Excellent financial modelling skills
- Experience working across department in coordinating Business Development, budgetary and operational requirements
- Fluency in another language is preferred
