Job title: Project Engineering Technical Leader

Location: Florida, United States (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineering Technical Leader to join our team. As a Project Engineering Technical Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our engineering projects from inception to completion. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring project objectives are met, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

As a crucial member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our engineering projects. You will be responsible for providing support and alignment with the commissioning manager from the planning stages of the project through the final handover to the customer. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, resolving technical issues, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering, along with excellent communication, and problem-solving skills. They should possess a deep understanding of project management methodologies and be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working with electrical engineering, and project engineering or a similar role

  • Strong experience working with power systems, battery systems, and controls

  • Experience in optimization of DC and AC coupled battery energy storage systems (ESS), system integration, and ESS controller design

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and decision-making

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
